《最後的獅子》（英語：The Last Lions）是一部2011年有關獅子的美國自然紀錄片，由國家地理學會拍攝，Dereck Joubert執導。影片於2011年1月的棕櫚泉國際電影節上首映[1]，並隨後於2月18日在影院有限公映[2][3]。本片是國家地理頻道貓科動物系列的一部分，其他作品包括《India: Land of the Tiger》和《Eye of the Leopard》。
故事[編輯]
在過去的50年間，由於人類的活動，獅子已經從45萬頭銳減到了2萬頭。
影片聚焦於非洲大陸的一隻雌獅Ma di Tau，以及她和兩隻幼獅艱難生存的故事。人類的活動導致北方來的獅群占領了Ma di Tau原先棲息之地，Ma di Tau與雄獅被迫分散，之後她帶領一雄一雌兩隻幼獅渡河來到了一處濕地。為了生存，她必須提防該地的大牛群，並儘量學會對付牛群以獲取食物。[4]
解說[編輯]
傑瑞米·艾恩斯負責解說工作，他以前曾負責為1994年迪士尼電影《獅子王》中的反派角色刀疤進行配音[1]，他也為2006年國家地理電影 Eye of the Leopard 解說[5]。
同類作品[編輯]
國家地理電影於2003年發行了一部有關獅子的紀錄片《Roar: Lions of the Kalahari》；2007年3D版《Lions 3D: Roar of the Kalahari 》重新發行，並由James Garrett解說。
2011年4月22日，迪士尼自然發行了紀錄片《African Cats》。
