食瓊脂菌屬（學名：Agarivorans）也稱噬瓊膠菌屬，是交替單胞菌科下的一屬。[1][3][2]此屬的物種是革蘭氏陰性，嚴格好氧、不形成孢子且嗜溫的杆狀細菌。此屬的物種用單極鞭毛運動。[4]此屬的模式種是白色食瓊脂菌（Agarivorans albus）。
詞源[編輯]
Agarivorans這個名稱源自於新拉丁語中性名詞「agarum」，表示瓊脂和拉丁語分詞形容詞「vorans」，表示吞噬；。新拉丁語陽性名詞（新拉丁語陽性分詞形容詞被用作名詞）「agarivorans」，表示吞噬瓊脂的。[3]
